Code of Ethics & Standards of Practice
All members of MNZ are required to abide by the MNZ Code of Ethics and MNZ Standards of Practice.
This provides members with a clear set of guidelines around how members will conduct themselves and act in accordance with MNZ's values and standards. The Code of Ethics covers client relationships, professionalism, scope of practice, appropriate techniques, image and advertising claims. The Standards of Practice covers interpersonal skills, privacy, client health, hygiene and health, education, safety and quality in practice, professionalism, legal and cultural requirements. You can download a copy of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice here.
If you feel that the Code of Ethics has been breached, you should contact our Complaints Officer by email firstname.lastname@example.org
You can also make a complaint with the Health and Disability Commissioner, who promotes and protects your rights and receives all formal complaints against health practitioners.
